It is very difficult to rework the lineup on the pool deck, and this could result in relays being scratched and swimmers left without races.
We have several races at 8:30 AM, so if you notice your child is unwell the night before,
please withdraw them from the meet that evening.

Important Rules
Swim Suit and Cap - Swimmers must wear a Sharks swim suit. If you haven’t received yours yet, you can wear a swimsuit in the Sharks colors (black and red). Every swimmer must wear a Sharks swim cap; personalized caps have been distributed.
Absolutely no jewelry or bands on wrists—swimmers will be disqualified.
No cell phones should be out during a meet.
Please note that not all teams update their results in the Swimmingly App effectively. Therefore, you may only see our team's standings on the app. For example, a swimmer might place first within our team in the app but actually finish third overall if the other team places first and second.
You can view your swimmer's race assignments before the meet in the Swimmingly App.

Please see the letter from Social Ministry thanking all our Sharks for their kindness.
Dear CYO Sharks Swim Team Coaches, Swimmers, and Families,
Happy New Year from the St. William the Abbot Parish Social Ministry office! We want to start the year off by letting you know how grateful we are for your support of our ministry. Your donations this holiday season were so generous of time, talent and spirit! You made the homebound parishioners of St. Williams feel cherished, loved and remembered. What a gift you gave them!
The homemade placemats and mini pumpkins were all delivered the weekend before Thanksgiving, and parishioners loved them! Then the Christmas stockings were delivered the week before Christmas and were also a big hit! In particular, the homemade greeting cards included in the Christmas stockings really touched people’s hearts as a personal gesture of kindness.
As we enter 2024, we want you to know how much we value your hard work on behalf of our parish’s homebound seniors. Please know that your efforts have made a concrete impact upon the lives of others! We are so grateful for the CYO Sharks, and we pray for God’s blessings for you and your families.
Sincerely,
Allison Marro
